BRIAN O'NEILL MEMORIAL 2011

The weather started out nice and sunny at Findon

 but the floodlights had to be turned on around 4pm

as it was overcast and slight rain for the running

of the sudden death finals.

At Findon there are the top six on the grid in the finals

which allows for a rider to have a bad race/fall etc

and still have a chance of winning.

Division Seven

Cooper Osborne didn't drop a point all day in Division Seven

but Aiden Weinert kept him on his toes in the final.

Division Six

In Division Six there were 14 riders and it was a scramble

to get in the top six.
1st Karah Schultz, 2nd Blade Blatchford, 3rd Toby Wohlschlager, 4th Harrison Hopkins

Division Five

Division Five was another highly competitive grade with

 Michael Ratcliff top scoring in the heats but not in the final.
1st Matty Snowden, 2nd Kyle Osborne, 3rd Matt Forester, 4th Michael Ratcliff

Division Four

Matt Bryant dominated Division Four and took out first place

quite comfortably

Division Three

Division Three was dominated by Shane Bentley but he

 slid slightly on lap two and Trent Forester was quick to

 take advantage of the situation and take the title.

Division Three B

Division Three section B was on total points with only four

riders nominating but the racing was very competitive.

Division Two

Scott Kinross did not drop a point in Division Two and went

on the win the final in easy style

GIRLS UNDER-13

Girls Under-13 was a very competitive grade with Amy-Lee Hay

having a fall in race two but going on to win the final in impressive style.
1st Amy-Lee Hay, 2nd Karah Schultz, 3rd Ebony Clark, 4th Shiranta Aston

WOMEN'S





 

The Women's grade was also very competitive with Letitia Collins

sliding out on the wet track in her last heat but not making

the same mistake in the final.
1st Letitia Collins, 2nd Nicole Kinross, 3rd Lucy Millikin, 4th Gabby Aston






OVER-30S

Over 30's was on total points

1st Andrew Blatchford, 2nd Darren Schultz, 3rd Rob Mathews, 4th Darren Mathews

Division One

In the main event it was Jack Spear who did not drop a point

in the heats (16) and elected to start on grid one in the final.

Bobby McMillan and Cody Chadwick scored 14 points each

and moved into grids two and three with Matt Gentle on four Paul White

 on five and Tyrone Walters on grid six.  

Matt Gentle, in top form, took the lead out of turn one by

going under the others and never looked back on the wet and slippery

 track which took its toll.
